• All persons using the pool or pool area do so at their own risk and sole responsibility. The pool management, managing agent, nor HMHOA assumes responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use.

• All persons using the pool or pool area agree to save harmless the pool management, managing agent and HMHOA from any and all liabilities and action of whatsoever nature by any guests arising from of the use of the pool or pool area.

• No one will be admitted without valid pool pass.

• Members 10 and older entering the pool complex must sign in at the front desk. Children under 10 years of age will only be admitted with a parent or babysitter, the age of 13 or over.

• Non-resident babysitters who are supervising Hunt Meadow children may enter the pool after being registered by the resident with the managing agent at 410-553-9500.

• Babysitters are responsible for all children in their care at all times.

• Members will be responsible for all actions of their children, babysitter(s) and guest(s).

• The baby pool is limited to children six years old or younger. Please be aware that there are no lifeguards stationed in the baby pool area. Therefore, an adult or babysitter must supervise each child in the baby pool area at all times.

• Children must be under the direct supervision of an adult or will be required to pass a swimming test in order to be in the large pool.

• Neither the pool management, managing agent, nor HMHOA will be responsible for loss of or damage to personal property of any kind.

• Please remember that lifeguards are not babysitters and that all children must remain under the supervision of the accompanying member or babysitter. If an underage child is found at the pool unaccompanied, the lifeguard will telephone the parents and request that the child is picked up immediately. Lifeguards will report all incidents to the managing agent.

• All persons must shower before entering the pool.

• Only children age 4 and under of the opposite sex may accompany an adult into the bathroom and shower facilities.

• Strollers when not in use, must be parked in the grassy area. No bikes, roller blades, scooters, or skateboards are allowed in the pool area. Keep bikes clear of the pool entrance.

• Lifeguards will deny admission to anyone who has skin abrasions, inflamed eyes, contagious skin rashes, infections, or who is wearing bandages.

• Only toilet-trained children will be permitted in the large pool. No diapers, swim diapers or rubber pants are permitted in the large pool. Diapered children with rubber pants or swim diapers are allowed in the baby pool.

• Adult swim may occur at the discretion of management on weekdays for the hours of 1, 3, 5, and 6 and on weekends during the hours from 11 to 5 on the hour till a quarter past the hour (except for the last hour of the day). Anyone under 18 years of age will not be permitted in the pool during adult swim.

• First aid supplies may be obtained from the lifeguard. All injuries, however slight, must be reported to the lifeguard.

• A phone is provided for limited use. When making a phone call from the pool phone, you are required to sign your name, date, time and phone number called in the phone log book. Phone calls are limited to local calls and at the discretion of the lifeguard. The phone is not to be used for business purposes.

• At the discretion of the lifeguard, rafts, tubes, snorkels and fins, and flotation devices may be used in the pool. Oversized tubes and multi-person rafts are prohibited. Children using floatees or swimmies must be under the direct supervision of an adult.

• The kick boards belong to the Hunt Meadow Swim Team and are not to be used.

• Private swim instructors must be registered with pool management and may give lessons to Hunt Meadow residents only.

• Per pool contract, the pool management has the authority to close the pool during inclement weather. This may include the pool pavilion.

• No dogs allowed in the pool complex.

• Food and beverages shall not be consumed within 8 feet of the pool’s edge.

• No glass containers will be allowed in the pool area.

• Garbage must be deposited in garbage containers.

• Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are prohibited. If any person is found or suspected of using illegal substances, the lifeguards are instructed to call the police immediately and without warning.

• Running, rough housing, ball playing or any undue disturbance in or about the pool is not permitted and will not be tolerated.

• The use of abusive or profane language is grounds for ejection from the pool complex.

• Diving is permitted in designated areas only. No diving is permitted in the shallow end of the pool.

• Reckless diving is not permitted.

• The diving well must be cleared before using the diving board.

• Use of the diving board and diving well may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of the lifeguard.

• A resident of Hunt Meadow, 13 years or older, must accompany their guests to the pool. When the resident leaves, the guest must also leave. Under no circumstances may a guest remain at the pool without a Hunt Meadow resident. Each Hunt Meadow family is limited to five guests per day. A guest pass must be presented at time of entry. Residents will be held responsible for all actions of their guests.

• The pool management, managing agent or HMHOA may refuse entry to guests in cases of overcrowding, under staffing or for any safety issue which may arise.

• A guest may be admitted to the pool with a member no more than three times per week. Exceptions may be made for out-of-town guests.

• 1st Offense Þ Þ Þ Þ Þ Warning by Lifeguard
• 2nd Offense Þ Þ Þ Þ Þ Sitting out of pool for 15 minutes
• 3rd Offense Þ Þ Þ Þ Þ Ejection from pool complex for remainder of the day and revocation of pool passes. The member will be denied access to the pool until the matter is resolved to the satisfaction of pool management.

 

• The pool management  or head lifeguard has been delegated the responsibility for the strict enforcement of rules and regulations. He/she has the authority to temporarily deprive any member, guest or tenant of the use of the pool. If the pool management takes such action, he/she must file a written statement with the managing agent within 24 hours after taking such action. The written statement shall include a brief statement of the facts and rules, which he/she alleges, have been violated. Within 5 business days after the filing of such written, the Board must take immediate action or the temporary suspension will automatically terminate.

• The Board of Directors may impose a permanent suspension of pool privileges for the rest of the season for any individual who is reportedly in violation of the rules.

• The on-duty pool management is in charge of the daily safe operation of the pool and its grounds. Any dispute with the pool management’s decision should be presented to the managing agent.

• Refusal to comply with local health codes, pool rules and regulations can result in the suspension of pool privileges for a period of time to be determined by the Board of Directors.

• Parties for the use of the pool/pavilion will be on a first come basis with only one party per time frame. Parties must be self-booked by adult members. The resident host will be responsible that all guests comply with all pool rules.

• A sign-up calendar for parties will be located in the lifeguard’s room. Contact Anchor Aquatics for pool reservations prior to pool opening day.

• Parties are to be limited to 2 1/2 hours for pavilion use during pool hours and are limited to 40 people.

• The party fee is based on the number of non-member guests attending. The host is allowed 5 non-member guests without charge. For additional non-member guests, there will be a charge of $1.00 per child and $2.00 per adult. These fees are increased for a party with greater than 20 guests. There will be no charge for residents of Hunt Meadow. Payment must be made by check payable to HMHOA and must be left with the lifeguard on the day of the party.

• No party entertainment (i.e. DJ, Moon Bounce...) without prior written Board approval.

• Any party with greater than 20 guests must be booked 14 days in advance with pool management.  Parties of 20 non-member guests or greater may require additional pool staff at the expense of the host in addition to increased guest fees of $2.00 per child and $5.00 per adult.  Arrangements and fees for extra lifeguards are the responsibility of the party host and Anchor Aquatics requests that a separate check be included with the application to cover the lifeguard expense.  Guard fees are $18.00 per hour for each lifeguard.  Arrangements for extra guards should be made through Anchor Aquatics (410-956-0744).  A guest list must be submitted to the lifeguards at the time of the party for insurance purposes and a separate check made payable to HMHOA shall be attached – no cash please.

• The host is responsible for cleaning the pavilion or pool area where the party takes place. This includes removal of trash and hosing down the area. The lifeguard is not responsible for cleaning up after parties. Failure to abide by these clean-up rules could result in forfeiture of pool privileges. The pool management are instructed to notify the managing agent in the event that the pool or pavilion area is not adequately cleaned after a party and a charge may be incurred.

All party/pool guidelines must be met. Any exceptions to the party/pool policy must be in writing to Victory Management for the pool committee review prior to the event. Notice must be received by Victory Management at least 14 days
